Golden Scalloped Potatoes with Camembert
When I came across a French recipe for scalloped potatoes baked with Camembert cheese, I couldn’t wait to try it. The sauce was cleverly prepared by melting small cubes of Camembert (rind and all) in cream, and then it was poured over layers of sliced potatoes. Nothing could be simpler or more delicious. Serve this casserole as an accompaniment to your favorite roast, or try it alongside grilled chops or steaks, but don’t be surprised if it upstages the main course!
